Calling all high schools!

Want to help shape your future and make your voice heard? If you’re passionate about the arts, this is your chance to get involved.
We’re inviting groups of 10–15 students from YEAR 9 and aged 13+ to attend a free National Theatre screening of Life of Pi (age rating 12a) on Monday 29th June 2026.
Alongside the screening, students will have the opportunity to:
  • · Take part in interactive activities
  • · Share their ideas and influence future opportunities for young people
  • · Learn more about our work experience programmes and creative career pathways
  • · Help Mitchell Arts Centre develop experiences that truly reflect what young people want and need
This is your chance to speak up, get inspired, and connect with the arts in a meaningful way.
Schedule:
  • · 9:30am – Arrival 9:45am – Welcome & introduction on stage
  • · 10:00am – Breakout activities
  • · 10:30- Break
  • · 11:00am–1:30pm – Free theatre screening
* Please note there is a 20 minute interval where students can eat lunch in the auditorium.
