MAC Panto: Puss in Boots (SATS)

    1st-9th December, various times

Stoke Amateur Theatre Society who brought you last years sell out 'Robin Hood and The Babes in the Wood' are proud to present their 2018 panto at the Mitchell Arts Centre, Hanley. This year it's a brand-new laughter-packed version of 'Puss in Boots' written once again by local children's entertainer Paul Brammer!
As always our fun-packed shows have music, dance, side-splitting traditional comedy, and of course, lots of audience participation, and this year a gloriously messy slapstick kitchen scene that has to be seen to be believed!

    17th-31st December, various times

A brand new professional pantomime, Cinderella, will be playing at the Mitchell Arts Centre (MAC), this festive period and it has a very local connection.

It stars Den Siegertsz from BBC Radio Stoke as Baron Hardup, Tim Churchill (Blood Brothers) and Paul Deakin as the ugly sisters with Catherine O'Reilly as the Fairy Godmother. Joining them is a cast of touring and west end actors playing the other characters.

The set has been especially designed to fit the stage of the MAC. The script has been written by local playwrights Tim Churchill and Paul Wood and contains many references to Stoke-on-Trent that the audiences will love.
