The Mitchell Arts Centres education team are passionate about making quality arts education accessible to everyone. Over the past two years, thanks to the support from Tesco Community Funding, National Lottery Heritage and Community Funds, and The Hubb Foundation, we’ve been able to extend our reach and impact. Our goal is to support and inspire individuals from all backgrounds by breaking down the barriers to arts participation.

We offer a variety of programmes designed to engage and educate. Our school trips provide students with a captivating introduction to theatre, while our work experience week—partnered with BBC Bring the Drama—gives young people a behind-the-scenes look at the industry. Additionally, our Mac Youth Board, in collaboration with St. Margaret Youth Ward Catholic Academy, fosters creativity and leadership among youth.
