their first day at Emerald City Kindergarten. When the Emerald Gem of Friendship goes missing, the group embarks on a journey to recover it. Along the way, they prove their friendship through acts of kindness, earning passage into the Crystal Caverns. Inside the Caverns the group teaches them the value of being good to each other, and the Tin man offers his silver heart as a gift. Gregory and Tabula return the gem, allowing harmony and the Festival of Gems can once more be celebrated.

lost their way. Glinda ends up having to share with Elphaba, the two are no longer friends. Elphaba’s unexpected display of magic impresses Morrible, who offers to personally tutor her. Glinda and Elphaba just can’t seem to get on. Fiyero arrives, creating a stir with Boq and Shen Shen. Meanwhile, Glinda and Elphaba warm up to each other and Glinda and the rest of the University decide to help her fit in and despite their differences their friendship deepens. Elphaba is taken to meet the Wizard and invites Glinda to join her. The Wizard is not all she seems and here he reveals his true motives. Realising the Wizard’s corruption, Elphaba refuses to help him. The Wizard and Morrible declare Elphaba a public enemy and create a tornado that reaches far beyond the realms of OZ.

tornado and transported to Oz. There, she accidentally lands her house on what she thinks is a witch from the east Nessarose. All she wants to do is get back home. The Munchkins give her a pair of ruby slippers and advise her to follow the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City, where the Wizard of Oz may help her.
