A Heritage-funded programme celebrating the story of Reginald Mitchell and 70 years of the Mitchell Arts Centre (1957–2027).
Through creativity, heritage and community, we're inspiring the next chapter of our story.

Young people take part in story-led clay workshops on a mission to "save" Stoke-on-Trent through creativity and ambition.
The sessions build confidence, imagination and civic pride while encouraging creativity and self-expression.

Designed with the Youth Board and St Margaret Ward young people, the mural tells the story of the Mitchell Arts Centre from 1957 to today using archive photography and community memories.

Young participants are designing and creating ceramic tiles inspired by Reginald Mitchell and the rich heritage of the Mitchell Arts Centre.
