Workshop Leader: Amanda Bowman
Amanda Bowman is an experienced dance teacher, choreographer, and theatre practitioner with over 20 years of teaching experience. Since establishing her own dance company in 2010, Amanda has dedicated her career to inspiring children and young people through the art of dance. In 2009, Amanda successfully gained her teaching qualification with the British Ballet Organization, completing her training and examinations through the organisation in London. Since then, she has taught hundreds of children and young adults each week, helping them develop confidence, creativity, technical skills, and a lifelong love of dance. Amanda produces original dance shows every year, creating exciting performance opportunities for her students and encouraging them to grow both as dancers and performers. She also prepares students for dance examinations, supporting them in achieving recognised qualifications and reaching their full potential. A passionate advocate for the performing arts, Amanda regularly attends dance competitions and performances, including events at the famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom. She particularly enjoys working within theatre settings, where dance, storytelling, and performance come together to create memorable experiences for audiences and performers alike. Amanda's workshops are energetic, inclusive, and inspiring, providing participants with the opportunity to develop new skills, build confidence, and experience the joy of movement. Above all, dance is Amanda's passion, and she is committed to sharing that passion with every student she teaches.
