'Interplanetary' Craft Workshop
Step into a world of imagination and exploration in this creative space and time travel–themed workshop for children aged 6+. Designed for up to 15 participants, this hands-on session invites young artists to journey beyond the stars through making, building, and collaborative play.
Using cardboard as a base, children will create both 2D and 3D planets, transforming them with paint, collage, and a variety of mixed-media materials. Introducing simple weaving techniques, participants will add texture and detail to their planetary designs, encouraging both fine motor skills and creative experimentation.
The workshop emphasises teamwork and shared storytelling, culminating in a large collective artwork that reflects each child’s contribution. The final piece will be displayed at the arts centre, celebrating the group’s creativity and imagination.
A fun, inclusive, and exploratory session, perfect for inspiring curiosity about art, space, and the possibilities of making together.
